Confectioner

We require an experienced Confectioner to join our Greenock bakery dayshift operation.

Candidates should have confectionery experience, be trained/ experienced in cake decoration and be capable of managing the team of confectioners when required.

Experienced Bakers

We presently have vacancies for experienced Bakers at our Greenock Bakery, for both dayshift and nightshift operations. Candidates should have a broad knowledge of craft baking operations and relevant practical experience.

Bakery and Confectionery Apprentices

We have 2 vacancies for Apprentices at the Greenock bakery.

They are ideal for any person keen to take up a Modern Apprentice Scheme.

• The annual Apprentice Recruitment Drive will take place at approximately this time each year to bring in new trainees to teach the craft of skills associated with our trade.

Bakers

Positions for fully and part qualified bakers are available at our Greenock Bakery on full time dayshift (39 hours) and rotating or full time nightshift.

Skills and Experience

You should have a good knowledge of baking and possess the relevant production skills, coupled with the ability to work at speed whilst maintaining quality standards.

We have vacancies for production operatives with or without previous food handling or production experience. Various shifts covering full time (39 hours) and part time working are available.

Job Requirements

You should enjoy working as part of a team and have high standards of hygiene, coupled with the ability to work at speed whilst producing to detailed quality standards.
